Is there an age limit?

Anyone between the ages of 16 and 65 may join. Contributors may transfer to a higher scheme before the age of 70 and remain a contributor for life.

Do my employees need to have a medical to join?

No, they only need to complete and sign the health declaration on the application form. That means you don't have to use the services of a company doctor or pay an external medical practitioner for tests.

How do my employees pay?

All you have to do is set up a simple payroll deduction scheme.

Will I be involved in claims?

No. Contributors deal directly with HSF health plan at every stage of the process, releasing you from any administrative burden.

Are the benefits limited to the contributor?

The One Scheme covers just the contributor, while the HSF health plan Family Scheme covers the contributor, their partner and all their children under 18.

Do contributions increase with age?

No. Contributions for a particular scheme stay the same regardless of age or how many claims are made.

What happens when contributors leave my employment or retire?

Paid up company contributors who cease work, retire or go to another job may continue to receive the benefits of HSF health plan as personal contributors at a slightly higher cost.
