16th Jan 2008

Paul Jackson, finance director of HSF health plan, gains new Diploma

Paul Jackson, finance director of HSF health plan, is one of the first people in the UK to gain the new Diploma in Charity Accounting, launched by the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

The diploma addresses the specific accounting and financial management needs of charities and implementing these new values and processes throughout organisations.

Paul has been with HSF for nearly nine years, and decided to take the diploma as it is the first accountancy institute recognised diploma in charity financial management, and demonstrates Paul has the correct level of experience to advance the HSF Charitable Trust’s aims and objectives.

Keith Bradley, Chief Executive of HSF health plan, says “Our business combines a low-cost cash plan with a Charitable Foundation, so this charity-focused accountancy diploma allows us to make the best use of our many donations to charitable causes.”
